About Nourd & who we help

can’t find your answer?

Not sure whether we are the right fit? Start here, or book a free call and tell us what you are trying to achieve.
01 What kind of businesses does Nourd Marketing work with?
We work with UK SMEs, local businesses, start-ups and ecommerce brands that want practical support with digital growth. The right fit depends less on your industry and more on whether we can clearly connect the work to a useful business goal.
02 Can we hire Nourd for one service?
Yes. You can start with one focused service, such as SEO, paid advertising, social media or a website project. If more than one channel is likely to help, we will explain how they can work together and what should be prioritised first.
03 What if we are not sure which service we need?
That is completely fine. Start with the problem rather than a service name. We will look at your goals, audience, current activity and available resources, then recommend the most sensible next step in plain language.
04 Who will work on our project?
We bring together the mix of specialists that best suits the project. Your scope will make responsibilities clear, and you will have a consistent point of contact so you know who to speak to throughout the work.
05 Can you work alongside our internal team or other suppliers?
Yes. We can work with your in-house marketing team, developer, designer or other partners. At the start, we agree who owns each task, how approvals will work and where information should be shared to avoid duplication or gaps.

Getting started & how we work

can’t find your answer?

Questions about the first conversation, planning and what happens before delivery begins.
01 What happens on the first call?
We use the first call to understand your business, audience, goals, current marketing and the main obstacle you want to solve. We may ask about budgets, timing and internal resources. You will leave with a clearer view of the next sensible step, even if the scope still needs refining.
02 Do you offer a free audit?
Where it is useful, we can review the relevant parts of your current activity before recommending work. The depth of that review depends on the service and the access available. A free review is an initial assessment, not a replacement for a full technical or strategic audit.
03 What information do you need before we start?
Usually we need your main goals, target audience, key products or services, current activity, available assets, approximate budget and any deadlines. Account access is normally requested only after the scope is agreed, and only for the platforms needed for the work.
04 How do you decide what to prioritise?
We look at likely business impact, urgency, effort, dependencies and the quality of the data available. The aim is to fix important blockers first, then build a realistic sequence of work rather than starting every possible task at once.
05 What will be included in the proposal?
The proposal should set out the agreed objectives, scope, deliverables, responsibilities, expected timings, fees and any separate costs. It will also explain important dependencies, such as access, client approvals, content or advertising budget.

Accounts, access & ownership

can’t find your answer?

If you didn’t find the information you were looking for, don’t worry.
01 What account access might you need?
It depends on the service. Access may include your website CMS, analytics, Google Search Console, advertising accounts, social platforms, business profiles, tag management or hosting. We will request only what is needed and explain why it is required.
02 Should we share passwords with you?
Wherever possible, use the platform’s user, partner or agency access rather than sharing a personal login. This keeps permissions clear and makes access easier to review or remove. Sensitive access should be shared through an agreed secure method, never in an open document or message thread.
03 Who should own our website, advertising and social accounts?
Your business should normally remain the owner of its domain, hosting, website, analytics, advertising and social accounts. Nourd can be granted the level of access needed to do the work without replacing your ownership.
04 Who owns the data, content and creative produced?
Your accounts and first-party business data remain yours. Ownership and usage rights for content, design and other deliverables will be stated in the agreement, including any third-party licences that cannot be transferred.
05 What happens to access when the work ends?
We provide an orderly handover, confirm the current status of the work and remove or reduce our access when it is no longer required. You should retain ownership-level access throughout, so the transition does not depend on an agency-controlled account.

Social Media Marketing

can’t find your answer?

If you didn’t find the information you were looking for, don’t worry.

01 Which social media platforms do you support?
The right platforms depend on your audience, offer and available content. Support may include channels such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok or others agreed in the scope. We would rather focus on the most useful channels than publish everywhere without a clear reason.
02 Do you manage organic social media, paid social, or both?
We can plan organic content, paid social campaigns or a combination of the two. Organic activity helps build a consistent brand presence and audience relationship, while paid activity extends reach to selected audiences and can support more direct campaign goals.
03 Do you create the content?
Content support can include planning, copy, creative direction and agreed design or production. The exact mix depends on the scope and the assets available. For specialist or behind-the-scenes content, we may need input, footage or subject knowledge from your team.
04 How do content approvals work?
We agree an approval process, reviewers and deadlines before publishing begins. Content is shared in batches where practical, with enough context for useful feedback. Timely approvals help keep the schedule moving and reduce last-minute changes.
05 Is community management included?
Replying to comments and messages is included only when it is part of the agreed scope. If your team manages customer conversations, we can still provide guidance on tone, escalation and common response types so the experience remains consistent.

Web Design & Development

can’t find your answer?

If you didn’t find the information you were looking for, don’t worry.

01 Can you build a new website or improve an existing one?
Yes. We can scope a new website, a full redesign or focused improvements to an existing site. The recommendation depends on the current platform, technical condition, content and whether the existing structure can support your goals.
02 What is included in a website project?
A project can include planning, page structure, user journeys, design, development, responsive layouts, basic technical SEO foundations, testing and launch support. Content writing, photography, integrations, ecommerce or migration work are included only where they are listed in the scope.
03 Will the website work on mobile devices?
Responsive behaviour is treated as a core requirement. Pages are designed and tested for common screen sizes so visitors can read, navigate and complete important actions on mobile, tablet and desktop.
04 Do you provide the domain, hosting and website content?
We can advise on these items and include agreed support in the scope, but domain registration, hosting and content are not automatically included in every project. Your business should normally own the domain and hosting account, even when we help configure them.
05 What happens after the website launches?
We complete agreed launch checks and hand over the relevant access and guidance. Ongoing maintenance, updates, hosting support or continued marketing can be arranged separately if required; they are not assumed unless included in the agreement.

Reporting, billing & ongoing support

can’t find your answer?

If you didn’t find the information you were looking for, don’t worry.

01 Who will be our main point of contact?
You will have a clear point of contact for updates, questions and approvals. Other specialists may contribute to the work, but communication should remain organised so you are not expected to coordinate multiple people yourself.
02 How often will we receive updates or reports?
The rhythm depends on the service and scope. Ongoing work may include scheduled updates and periodic reports, while project work is usually organised around milestones. We agree the format and frequency at the start so expectations are clear.
03 How do you measure success?
We agree useful measures before delivery begins. These may include qualified traffic, enquiries, sales, conversion rate, advertising efficiency, content engagement, technical improvements or completion of project milestones. We focus on measures connected to the objective rather than reporting every available number.
04 What happens if we request work outside the agreed scope?
We will explain whether the request can be absorbed, should replace another priority or needs a separate estimate. Additional work is not started as a surprise charge; the impact on cost or timing should be agreed first.
05 Can we pause, change or end the work?
The relevant terms, notice periods and payment obligations will be set out in the agreement. If work pauses or ends, we will confirm completed items, outstanding dependencies, account access and the handover needed to leave the project in a clear state.
